Support the Center for Knowledge Diffusion

The Center for Knowledge Diffusion (CKD) takes an active approach to the diffusion of information. We do this 1) by our impartial analysis of federally funded programs that impact the quality of our lives; 2) by our mentoring and talent development programs in the Arts and in policy analysis; and 3) by our commitment to developing and transferring trustworthy knowledge to the public about our expertise.

The need for rigorous research and practical solutions saves governments, education systems, and individuals time and contributes to improving efficiency at many levels.

The CKD exists to meet that need.

In 2011, the CKD was created as a tax exempt charity (501c3 not for profit organization) to broaden the analysis of complex systems so that a more holistic view of systems could be incorporated into our work. Through our rich experiences, our renowned experts, our leading-edge research, and through our active involvement in developing potential, we contribute to the world-wide flow of knowledge and talent.

Give to a Memorial Award to Honor Molly Macauley

On the evening of July 8th, 2016, a dear colleague who was instrumental in establishing the Center for Knowledge Diffusion was brutally murdered near her Baltimore home while she was walking her dogs. Molly Macauley, Vice President for Research at Resources for the Future, was a world reknowned space economist. News about her death can be found by following this link.

Over the last five years, Molly Macauley had been collaborating with the Center for Knowledge Diffusion on our NASA project to measure the impact of science conducted on the International Space Station. Several organizations are in the process of establishing memorial scholarships in her name. Johns Hopkins University, Resources for the Future, and the Women in Aerospace program to name a few. While those endowments are in the process of being established, the Center for Knowledge Diffusion can accept donations that we will forward to the sponsoring organization(s) that establish(es) an endowment to recognize Dr, Macauley's efforts to include women in aerospace, STEM careers, and/or the field of economics. Please indicate any of your preferences in the spcial instructions section of the donation form.
